On December 9th, 10th, and 12th, students from the GSS had the wonderful opportunity to visit the nursing home „Inge Leodolter Haus“ near Wasserwelt. With great anticipation and enthusiasm, the young people had lovingly crafted gifts in advance, which they proudly and warmly presented to the residents.
The joy on both sides was palpable and filled the room: there was heartfelt laughter, lively conversations, and frequent moments of wonder and amazement. During these moving moments of connection, even tears of emotion were shed—reflecting the deep bonds that were formed during the visit.
For those students particularly interested in training to become nursing assistants, this excursion offered a valuable insight into everyday professional life and the touching human interactions that come with caregiving work.
With hearts full of new impressions and unforgettable memories, the groups said their goodbyes—not without making a promise to return soon to once again share these special moments with the residents.
